Schwarzkopf Professional and London Fashion Week: A Collaboration of Styling Genius

This September, the renowned professional styling brand along with Schwarzkopf Professional's very own Global Styling Ambassador Nick Irwin (@nickirwinhair) collaborated with two fashion labels, NOKI (@nokiofficial, @nokinestt,) and HELEN ANTHONY (@helenanthonyofficial) to present their Spring/Summer 2023 Collections at London Fashion Week. The event was a great success and we're excited to share some behind the scenes glimpses and some of our favourite looks from the show!

We love hearing from you, so let us know what you think in the comments below!

This collaboration was the perfect symbiosis of craft and products; officially debuting Schwarzkopf Professional's SESSION LABEL range on the runway, backstage and in the runway impressions.

HELEN ANTHONY @helenanthonyofficial

As one of the leading Editorial and Session Stylists for both catwalks and high-fashion campaigns, Nick Irwin was a natural fit to style the hair for both the NOKI and HELEN ANTHONY shows. His styling range of choice is Schwarzkopf Professional's SESSION LABEL assortment; used to craft effortless hair with character and edge by layering and combining consistencies and textures for tailor-made creations. Working alongside Fashion Stylist Kim Howells (@kim_howells), Nick was supported by an international team consisting of creative key members from Schwarzkopf Professional's Young Artistic and Collective Teams, as well as local hairdresser talents.

HELEN ANTHONY is a British fashion label known for cutting-edge fashion and design, combined with the finest tailoring and materials; bringing collections that stand out from the crowd. The SS23 show was no different with a unique ready-to-wear collection featuring a cross between 80s pop and tailored suits, presented in a variety of colours and materials and paired with long coffin nails and sunglasses. Golds, nudes, glitter and big collars were all featured, with a juxtaposition between modern and old. Hair was generally slicked back with an aesthetically pleasing polished but undone feel.

Main products used to create the looks:

THE MOUSSE

A lightweight volumising mousse from SESSION LABEL that adds targeted volume and body with instant root-lift. The formula with high-performing styling polymer and a calibrated dispersion ensures targeted volume.

THE THICKENER

A volumising blow-dry spray from SESSION LABEL with Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein and Panthenol that bulks up the hair and adds grip, leaving hair feeling thicker – but never sticky or stiff.

 THE FLEXIBLE

A dry, light hold hairspray from SESSION LABEL for workable fixation and control. Quick-drying formula with micro-fine dispersion.

NOKI @nokiofficial @nokinestt

Renowned British designer, DR. NOKI is known as a self-proclaimed “anarchist to fashion waste” – a representative of sustainable fashion and a trailblazer, with a focus on reusing and up-cycling vintage or dead stock textiles. His style was born out of the 90s London rave scene where his custom-built designs caught momentum. His SS23 Collection, NOKI, echoes this signature approach with up-cycled and distressed street couture fashion presented in an anti-establishment and rebellious way; patterns, logos and grunge-esque clothing is custom-tailored and reimagined in a mismatched manner. Hair was creatively styled to match with a cool underground vibe.

Main products used to create the looks:

THE TEXTURIZER

An undone-look texture spray from SESSION LABEL with Tapioca Starch and Panthenol creates lightweight texture and volume for fuller-looking tousled hair with a moisturised feel.

THE STRONG

A firm hold hairspray from SESSION LABEL that provides maximum control for flawless finishing. Perfect to tame flyaways and hold styles in place. As well as the SESSION LABEL THE MOUSSE.
