PRIDE: A Celebration of Individuality
In the animal kingdom, there is a vast variety of textures and colors that identify each species. They may wish to camouflage themselves or show off their unique identity.
This concept inspired the creative Danny Pato behind Pride.
"Each creature has its own individuality and from the king of the animal world, the Lion, to the tiny Pink Robin, they all present with pride."
Pato, a hair stylist from New Zealand is known for his unique approach to hair design. His passion for animals and his love of nature are evident in every piece he created in this collection.
"The concept of combining textures, patterns and animal energy into the hair design and styling was a means to communicate that pride," said Pato. "I wanted to show them how beautiful they are."
We're totally obsessed with the eclectic styling of the PRIDE collection and the oversized hairstyles representing the animals in the kingdom. Mixing of colour, prints, textures, shapes and volume has made this collection multi award-winning! We love it
